Music Movement
Al 1-4 The first couple
turn each other with right hands once
around in eight steps.
5-8 They cast off into the second place with
eight steps,
the second couple moving up into the first couples
place on the last four steps. On the
cast the man
turns out to the left while the woman turns out to
the right.
A2 1-4 The first couple
turn each other with left hands once
around in eight steps.
5-8 They cast off to the bottom with the third
couple
moving up on the last four steps.
B1 1-8 All join hands and
slip eight steps to the left and eight
steps back to the right.
B2 1-4 The first couple
lead up the center, with eight steps.
5-6 They cast off in four steps into the middle
place
while the third couple moves down.
7-8 The first man and first woman turn single,
the man
to the right and the woman to the left.
A3 1-4 The first man turns
the third woman once around while
the first woman turns the second man once around (eight
steps).
5-8 The first man turns his partner once
around.
A4 1-4 The first man turns
the second woman three-quarters
around, ending in the first woman's position, while
the first woman turns the third man three-quarters
around, ending in the first man's position.
5-8 The first man turns his partner once and a
half around.
B3 1-8 The first man dances
a figure eight around the second
couple, moving first up the center and passing the
second woman by the right shoulder. The
first woman
dances a figure eight around the third couple, moving
first down the center and passing the third man by
the right shoulder (skip step).
B4 1-8 The first man dances
a hey for three with the third
couple, moving down the center and passing the third
woman by the left shoulder. The first
woman dances
a hey for three with the second couple, moving up
the center and passing the second man by the left
shoulder. In the last steps, the first
couple
lead down the center into the bottom position, the third
couple finishing in the middle places (skip step).
The
whole dance is then repeated twice, the second and third couples
in turn acting as first couple.
